Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea ref 116660 (2016) was the first commercially-produced Rolex model to boast up to 12,800 feet/3,900 meters of water resistance. At its release, this model was the most waterproof Rolex dive watch on the market. Rolex has since discontinued ref. 116660 to make way for newer editions of the trailblazing deep saturation dive watch, which only adds to its desirability among collectors in the know. Ref. 116660 embodies the distinctive aesthetics of a modern Rolex, complete with a uni-directional bezel with a ceramic insert, a “Maxi” dial with larger hour markers and broader hands, longer-lasting luminescent material, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and durable 904L-grade Oystersteel.
