Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 116710 Steel Oyster
Rolex developed the GMT Master II pilot’s watch in the 1980s, offering a similar style as its predecessor the GMT Master but with an improved movement and a newly independent 24-hour hand. The ref. 116710 is a modern variation of the GMT Master II. It boasts a calibre 3186 self-winding movement with increased anti-magnetism and a smoother hour hand. The case is noticeably more robust than its 5-digit predecessors, featuring broader lugs, a maxi dial with a larger luminous display, and a Cerachrom bezel insert. Green accents via a Rolex logo and seconds hand are a nod towards the brand’s signature hue and complement the modern maxi dial well.
