Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 114060 (2017) was the first time-only model to sport a lustrous ceramic bezel. Before the model debuted in 2012, the “No Date” Sub was outfitted with an aluminum bezel. The 6-digit generation is inherently more contemporary because it sports larger crown guards, thicker lugs, and a larger “maxi” display with bigger hour markers and wider Mercedes hands. Compared to its 5-digit predecessor, ref. 114060 appears slightly larger despite having the same 40mm diameter.
